Described as “gin with the wow factor”, this eagerly anticipated finest Welsh craft gin has been distilled on the Llyn Peninsular, North Wales. Over a year in the making, Abersoch gin is perfectly formulated with full-body flavours and bursting with delicious aromas created by handpicked local botanicals and pure Welsh water. With juniper tones at the very heart of this high-quality spirit and strictly no artificial colours, flavourings or added sugar, Abersoch gin is the perfect summer drink that you won’t feel guilty about enjoying.
Why are we such big fans of Abersoch gin? Well, aside from the fact it is a delicious, high-quality gin – we designed the branding. When the Abersoch Spirit Company approached us with their brief, they highlighted what inspired them; sea, beaches, anchors, boats – everything Abersoch is known and loved for. We worked with this and love the end result.
Once the logo design was created we then looked at the bottle design. We agreed that the anchor icon in the word ‘Abersoch’ should face directly towards the consumer with the rest of the word printed down the bottle to maximise the use of the space and add impact.
This is how the logo design looked during the initial design phase, originally the bottle design was more angular to represent the shape of a sail however as development progressed this was adjusted in favour of a more traditional shape. The deep blue of the glass bottle reflects the theme of the sea and also differentiates from other brands on the market, providing strong brand recognition and helping the gin to stand out on the shelf.
We think you’ll agree that the finished product looks outstanding – we can’t wait to get our hands on our very own bottles now that Abersoch gin has been officially launched. Now that bars and restaurants have opened in England and Wales, why not head down the Aqua Beach Bar & Restaurant in Llanbedrog – one of Abersoch gin’s new stockists – and try this mouth-watering gin packed with tons of ice and garnish, finished with a splash of fruity tonic, overlooking the beach… you won’t be disappointed.
